Falling & Flying examines the dual nature of our dreams, their exhilaration and their risk. Flying embodies the rewards of aspiration, the sense of freedom, success, control, or escapism that comes with rising beyond what we know. Yet with every new elevation, the possibility of falling grows, especially when the height becomes more than we can hold. Falling reflects the consequences of those same dreams, the moment when solid ground gives way and control slips from our grasp. It captures the emotional pivot from stability to uncertainty, echoing the feelings of overwhelm and anxiety often found in dreams about falling. Together, these works explore the delicate balance required to pursue our ambitions, the tension between reaching higher and recognizing our limits.
